SAP Finance Application Lead - Portsmouth

An ever expanding international organisation require an experienced SAP Finance Application Lead to join their corporate services division in Portsmouth. You would be an integral part of the team responsible for the analysis, design, configuration and support of the SAP FI/CO module. You will effectively be a Technical Lead adding value through your knowledge of the FICO module and of its integration.

Your key responsibilities:

* Working closely with customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality

* Configuration and integration between separate functional modules of SAP (PS, Logistics, Procurement, HR)

* Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in FI/CO modules

* User requirements gathering, blueprinting and documentation designing

* Ensure compliance and integrity of the finance configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes

* Work with the Service Desk and SAP to facilitate problem resolution including software bugs

* Participate in release upgrades, new functionality and perform application research

* May be required to lead and co-ordinate the work of a small team

Key skills and qualifications required:

* Experienced in SAP FI/CO configuration

* Integration experience with Logistics, Procurement, PS and HR

* Previous experience as a consultant or in a similar customer facing role

* University degree/finance background

* Ability to be flexible and work analytically

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Exposure to IT Governance/ITIL (desirable)

Salary and benefits:

* £75,000 - £85,000 in line with experience
