A leading provider of wealth management, asset management, capital markets and financial advisory services are looking for a Java Developer to join their team in Dublin. This financial giant possess a huge global footprint and are looking for a Java Developer to join their technology focused organisation and work within an agile environment.

If you have an understanding of scripting languages such as SQL or Spring and experience working with microservices, then you could be the ideal fit for the role of Java Developer.

What will you be doing?

As a Java Developer, you'll be responsible for working in close co-ordination with our business users, vendors and other members of the team to craft solutions to business problems considering functional and non-functional requirements. To develop and maintain business requirements whilst consistently designing documents and other appropriate project documentation in line with development standards and best practice.

What skills/experience should you have?

* 3+ years Java/J2EE and related technologies, ideally using Spring;

* Good knowledge of Spring, SQL and Linux technologies

* Ability to develop web services, primarily REST

* Working knowledge of web analytics & best practice for integrating into online applications
