Lead Software Developer

Location: London, Bristol or Edinburgh Technology: Java, .NET or JavaScript

Salary: Competitive DOE Type: Permanent

Whilst working with highly experienced consultants, you will be designing, developing an implementing major software applications across a range of clients. You will be surrounded by highly capable smart people in a collaborative environment that encourages sharing of knowledge and experiences. An agile approach is followed whist having solid development practices. Different areas of specialism are accounted for and learning of new skills is encouraged throughout your career.

Continuous Delivery practices are encouraged, by creating a rapid pipeline from development through to test and production and keeping software deployable throughout development. Having the ability to release often and with confidence allows significant benefits for this companies clients.

You should have:

* Strong commercial experience with at least one technology (i.e. Microsoft or Open Source).

* A relevant university degree (2.1).

* Expertise in either Java (Spring, Hibernate, MVC), .NET (C#, ASP.NET MVC) or JavaScript (Angular, Node, React).

* Experience using Agile/Scrum development methodologies and exposure to the full Software Development Lifecycle.

* Strong knowledge of database technologies such as MS SQL Server, MySQL and/or MS Entity Framework.

* Knowledge of MS Team Foundation Server and/or Git.

* Some knowledge and experience of MS Azure or Amazon Web Services cloud-based applications.
