Job brief

They are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who has an understanding in UX or UI design.

You will be responsible for the Company brand, plan the design elements for client projects, specifically graphics for their platform, printed material and marketing campaigns. In this role you must demonstrate good creative thinking, have an exceptional eye for detail and understand UX/UI best-practices. You will work as a member of an iterative project team during the design, implementation, integration, testing and successful delivery of their projects. You must enjoy taking initiative and being innovative.

Responsibilities

- Develop the design of the platform/ project solution

- Delivery of marketing campaigns

- Supply graphics to both development and to marketing

- Participate in the mentoring and training of new team members

- Regularly develop and refresh the company brand

- Working to a design brief/ multiple projects

Essential Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience

- Degree in Graphic Design or similar

- 3-5 years design agency experience

- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/ Illustrator/ InDesign)

- Setting up artwork for print

- Considerable Web Design experience

- Give and take feedback to improve both self and processes

- Respond well under pressure

- Be customer focused - think of the audience.

- Good attention to detail

- Follow company branding for both our company and that of our clients

- Estimate timescales and be aware of budget

Desirable Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience

- Pick up and use other programmes such as Wordpress, Balsamiq and Maxemail

- Have an understanding of responsive design principles

- Proof reading

- Research, Plan and Create - not just create

- Think of improvements/ efficiencies in processes and cost

- Keep abreast of changes in design

- Use initiative to help sales force - i.e. Documentation

- Keen to develop and progress oneself

- Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Salary/ Benefits

They would consider 20k - 30K Dependant on your experience
