Head of Quality Assurance/ Quality Control

Role and Company Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an established Pharmaceuticals company who are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance/ Quality Control to take the helm of the Quality Team and ensure the high standards required are maintained and exceeded.

You'll be joining a team that prepares over 50,000 items per year, so attention to detail is crucial as you oversee the Pharmaceutical Quality Systems (PQS). You'll be working on a wide range of commercial aseptic products, and will act as the QC on the MHRA's license.

As the Head of Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, you'll assist in the training of your team members, provide one-to-one appraisals, and supervise the validation work of your team. You'll ensure all documentation is correctly maintained, and act on deficiencies promptly and effectively.

Essential:

* Experience in a senior QA role

* Experience in Aseptic Services

* Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing

* Experience in a Quality Control Laboratory

* Experience managing the PQS
