Job Title: Provisioning Manager

Location: SE1 (Waterloo, Elephant & Castle, Southwark, Lambeth North stations)

Essential experience: Provisioning / Telecoms / Projects

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Our client, a City of London based specialist, dynamic & growing Telecommunications & IT Company, who supply, install, support and maintains state-of-the-art Voice, VOIP and Data solutions are now seeking a Provisioning Manager to join the team. This is an interesting and varied role that includes managing the Provisioning function.

Duties and Responsibilities

*Responsible for the provisioning and management of all data services, fixed line and SIP trunk installations.

Supplier management:

*Working with key suppliers to obtain best possible pricing for company projects;

* Acting as point of contact between the company and key suppliers to ensure that communication takes place in a focussed manner;

*Ensuring that the company has good relationships with key suppliers and also has an awareness of other suppliers and their product offerings.

Installation management:

*Coordination of suppliers, company teams and clients to ensure successful provision of data services and/or installation of fixed line circuits/SIP trunks;

*Hands-on provisioning and implementation of (telephony) network services.

Project management:

*Project planning and reporting;

*Project delivery;

* Financial control;

* Risk/issue management;

* Communications to project stakeholders (suppliers, clients, colleagues);

* Project documentation creation and maintenance.

Essential Competencies

*The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues, key suppliers and customers;

*The ability to work unsupervised on project tasks, communicating progress and managing risks/issues;

*Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with other technical teams, including internal and external service providers, suppliers and partners;

*Strong attention to detail;

* Strong documentation authoring skills.

Ideal background / excperience

*Minimum of 1 years experience provisioning products (including leased lines, SIP and fixed lines) in a multi-supplier environment;

*Minimum of 1 years experience working as a Project Manager, including Telecoms and IT projects;

*Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical projects.

Qualifications

*Current Project Management certification at Foundation or Practitioner level;

*Minimum of 2:2 degree in either a computer science or engineering discipline.
