Job Title: Test Analyst

Location: Hammersmith, West London

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the job:

The Test Analyst is an essential role that is being newly instated into the technology team. You will be responsible for quality assurance and the end to end testing of the consumer facing mobile apps and business to business web software.

You will be responsible for the following:

* Ensuring that the software deliverables are to a very high quality

* Rapidly writing and executing test scripts - delivering a re-usable set of regressions test scripts for future releases

* Providing status updates regarding test progress, results, and unresolved problems

* Writing bug reports

* Helping the company move toward a continuous integration model of development

Skills:

* ISEB/ISTQB Certificate in Software Testing

* 1+ years Mobile/Web testing and QA experience in an Agile Environment

* Running functional test in different environments including Web and Mobile

* Experience of manual/exploratory testing

* Knowledge of at least one programming language - PHP preferred

* Experience of PHPUnit or similar tools

* Team player with a 'can do' attitude

* Great attention to detail

* Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels

* Good problem solving and diagnostic skills

* The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands

* A degree in a technical discipline, Computer Science preferred

Desired:

* Experience of code control systems like GIT

* Knowledge of API testing

* An understanding of Performance Testing

* Experience of test automation (e.g. Selenium WebDriver)

* Agile methodologies and the corresponding Quality Assurance practices (knowledge of other methodologies is also an advantage).

* Creating and running end to end tests including API calls

* Setting up and maintaining test plans
