Senior Test Analyst - AutomationWorking for one of the largest retailers in the world, this is an excellent chance for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join the team and oversea test related projects to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively. You will be hands-on on all work but will float between different areas to leverage your experience in order to increase productivity across the business.Role Responsibilities:

'€¢Supports the ‘Best Fit' Test approaches for releases across domains'€¢Analyse and understand business process flows across the entire system landscape and translate into test flows'€¢Supports, develops and reviews test approaches, test plans and release plans including dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for such plans'€¢Helps to define hardware and software requirements as part of an overall path to live requirement - liaise with the Environment & Release Manager for delivery of these environments'€¢Supports the Test Managers to continually develop the teams to improve effectiveness, efficiency and productivity'€¢Ensure integrity of testing artefacts'€¢Mentor/coach individuals within the test teams'€¢Support continuous improvement initiatives (keep abreast of industry trends, implement best practice, evaluate new tools & techniques, automate processes, and upgrade underlying technologies)

Skills required:

'€¢Have played a key role in a multiple technology transformation programmes'€¢Software testing experience in a multi speed IT environment'€¢Excellent understanding of functional and non-functional testing'€¢Excellent understanding of test automation'€¢Excellent understanding of both waterfall & agile concepts and methodologies'€¢Experience in design and development of automated testing solutions for embedded software solutions'€¢Demonstrated experience in test automation design patterns'€¢ISEB certification to advanced level or equivalent'€¢Experience with test case management systems, source control tools (Git, SVN, Perforce) and defect management systems (JIRA, BugZilla, TFS)
