Test Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Test Manager to join an innovative FinTech company In London.

Where You'll Be Working

The company itself designs and creates web based technology for the insurance industry, and is partnered with a large insurance corporation. This Test Manager will join a unique company who enjoy the success and stability of a global insurance firm, whilst retaining the friendly, innovative feel of a start-up. You'll work in a modern, city based office with great amenities, and you'll work alongside laid-back, supportive colleagues who are passionate about technology.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Test Manager, you will manage a team of 10 automation testers, and take overall responsibility for driving next year's testing roadmap, which includes recruitment within the team and extending the current testing toolkit. Much of your time will be spent in meetings and liaising with clients, and you will occasionally get involved in producing documentation. This Test Manager role is very management focused - and whilst it is not a hands-on position there may be an occasional requirement to carry out some testing.

What Skills Are We Looking For?

This Test Manager will join a tight-knit, friendly company, and as such personality fit will be key. We are looking for candidates who have at least 2+ years' experience working as a Test Manager, who have experience managing client relationships. Whilst this isn't a hands-on testing role, the successful Test Manager should have prior automation testing experience, as it is essential that they understand they technology used in order to drive the testing roadmap forward.
