Senior Tester

A Senior Tester is required to join an innovative FinTech company In London. This company creates web based insurance platforms, and as a Senior Tester you will be responsible for testing their bespoke java-based systems.

This Senior Tester will join a unique company who enjoy the success and stability of a global insurance firm, whilst retaining the friendly, innovative feel of a start-up. You'll work in a modern, city based office with great amenities, and you'll work alongside laid-back, supportive colleagues who are passionate about technology. As a Senior Tester, you'll use a range of the latest open source technologies, and if you are keen to develop your current skill set, the company is happy to send you on training courses / put you forward for any industry relevant qualifications.

As a Senior Tester, your responsibilities will include:

* Testing web services developed in both XML SOAP interfaces and restful JSON APIs

* Building / maintaining automated functional regression using Selenium Webdriver

* Working as part of a TDD environment to ensure software components are fit for purpose

* Ensuring that delivered software meets non-functional requirements; performance, stability, availability and security

The key skills required for this role are:

* Functional test automation using Selenium (or similar)

* Java development experience

* Experience testing web applications in an agile team (preferably in the finance sector)

* Experience of testing APIs
