A fantastic new opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst has just come up for our Digital Technology client in the south of Oxfordshire. This is an expansive and challenging new Technical Business Analyst role with a large focus on digital optimisation of my clients’ market-leading products and web services. The Technical Business Analyst will have some exciting responsibilities including investigating and analysing new ways in which to engage with the market. As the newest Technical Business Analyst you will have cutting edge technical tools at your disposal as a well the opportunity to grow and expand your career as a Digital / Senior Business Analyst and beyond!

The Technical Business Analyst / Digital BA will focus on the business analysis of the website in collaboration with the commercial stakeholders. The ideal technical Business Analyst will be someone who can look help develop and improve the current products and performance, as well as being able to deliver the specifications for changes through to the development team. Ideally they are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a technical background who can work well with a development team. The ideal Digital Business Analyst would also be technically minded and be able to communicate clearly and persuasively to both commercial and technical teams at a senior level.

The Main Responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst include:

Document requirements using Agile methods

Produce story boards

Produce User cases/stories

Experience of working closely with and able to communicate clearly and confidently to technical experts and business users

Experience in UAT and web testing - before and after release

Data analysis skills in order to produce KPI reports and dashboards

Prioritised requirements list

Diagrams and Mock-ups

Proven ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and write technical specifications

Expert in web analytics including but not limited to Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Desirable Technical Skills include:

Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS

Skilled in UX design and Information Architecture

User of project management software, preferably JIRA

Keyword research and SEO reporting

Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO

Tracking - planning, implementation and tag management
