A Software Support Consultant is required to join my Oxford-based client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, or aspiring, Technical Software Support Consultant to join a busy and passionate team and help support cutting -edge software tools. This new Software Support Consultant opportunity offers the chance to get a great grounding in a booming industry and develop technical skills in a supportive and rewarding environment.

As the Software Support Consultant you will be tasked with assisting users with issues they are having with the software. This includes functionality issues or back-end technical (1st/2nd line) problems. SQL (database reporting) skills will play a key part in the Software Support Analyst role therefore we do ask that all applicants have good knowledge of SQL Server databases. More information regarding the role and responsibilities of the Software Support Consultant can be found below:

Technical Support Consultant Key Skills:

                     Experience in applications support.

                     Writing queries in SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.

                     Technical troubleshooting skills.

                     Strong communication and interpersonal skills as the successful candidates will be working directly with clients, other support team members and developers.

                     Writing technical documentation.

Technical Support Consultant Desirable Skills:

                     Experience with Ad Hoc reports, Business Objects or SQL reporting skills.

                     Advanced skills with Microsoft Word.

This role is based in central Oxford and has fantastic public transport links, other commutable areas are: Bicester, Headington, Thame, Aylesbury, Reading, London, High Wycombe and many more.
