A fantastic new opportunity for a Business Analyst has just come up for our Digital Technology client in the south of Oxfordshire. This is an expansive new Business Analyst role with a large technical focus on digital optimisation of my clients’ market-leading products and services. The SEO Analyst / Digital BA will have some exciting responsibilities including investigating and analysing new ways in which to engage with the market. As the newest SEO Analyst you will have cutting edge technical tools at your disposal as a well the opportunity to grow and expand your career as a Business Analyst, Senior BA and beyond!
The Business Analyst / Digital BA will help to lead SEO and digital performance optimisation for the company’s web sites and services in a role that really will help you gain valuable experience to help your career. Ideally the Business Analyst will have experience in establishing and maintaining best practices in an online media / content publishing environment. The ideal Digital Business Analyst would also be technically minded and be able to communicate clearly and persuasively to both commercial and technical teams at a senior level.
The Main Responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:
Research and propose new ways to improve performance in search
Manage ongoing SEO campaigns and reporting activities
Manage SEO executive
Analyse various aspects of digital performance to identify opportunities for improvement and form business proposals
Deliver reports for all areas of the business using established data sources
Be involved in the development of products and services for our users and clients
Produce user stories and technical requirements for the development team
Key Skills of the Digital Business Analyst include:
Able to communicate clearly and confidently with technical experts and business stakeholders
Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO
SEO reporting and keyword search
Web analytics
Tracking - planning, implementation and tag management
Data extraction (including use APIs) and manipulation
Analysis & presentation of data
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS and CMS principles
UX design and Information Architecture
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience in gathering requirements from various stakeholders and writing technical specifications
Experience in testing
This is a role that is broad in terms of skillset and responsibilities and therefore welcomes candidates from a range of backgrounds including; Marketing Executives, SEO Managers or Campaign Managers, Digital Strategist, Technical Business Analyst and many more.
