Head of Regulation (Utilities)

£50,000 - £60,000 + Life Insurance + Bonuses + Flexible Benefits

Are you an experienced Engineer or regulator with knowledge of both utilities and associated regulatory bodies looking for an exciting role with an industry leading and rapidly growing company reporting only the Regulation Director?

On offer is a role with a generous remuneration package where you will be responsible for liaising with external stakeholders such as Ofcom, Ofgem and the government as well as drawing up strategies to ensure compliance with the associated regulations.

This role would suit an experienced Engineer or regulator with a knowledge of utilities and the associated regulations looking for a role where you will have complete autonomy over your own work.

The Role:

*Identify the regulatory risks facing BUUK licensee businesses and propose and subsequently manage actions to mitigate BUUK's exposure.

*Engage with external stakeholders (e.g. regulatory bodies such as Ofgem, Ofwat, government) to proactively manage relationships and promote BUUK's position.

*Co-ordinate compliance with relevant legislation, licences and industry agreements; and where appropriate, to determine and co-ordinate actions to rectify non-compliances and mitigate the impact on BUUK.

The Person:

*Knowledge of one or more utilities networks.

*Knowledge of associated regulatory bodies and regulations (Ofcom, Ofgem).

*Ability to liaise with multiple external stakeholders.
