TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER / SC CLEARED / NATO / NCIA / ENGINEERING / ITIL / PRINCE 2 / SYSTEM ENGINEERING / IMMEDIATE START

ROLE TITLE: Technical Project Manager

LOCATION: Mons, Belgium

RATE: EUR45 - 50 per hour

CLEARANCE: SC Cleared / NATO Secret

DURATION: 6 months minimum

THE ROLE:

Coordinate project technical activities to ensure reaching the project objectives,

Maintain the project plan, budget, resource pool, standing project introduction materials,

Maintain project management repositories (documents, configuration, changes & so on) Provide periodic reporting (internal and external),

Assure high quality of deliverables, Escalate exceptions, issues, risks,

Maintain communications with stakeholders,

Prepare ad hoc reports and assessments,

Inspect project work,

Provide technical guidance as needed Adhere to NCI Agency guidance and directives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

A university degree in Computer Sciences, engineering r related discipline, equivalent to a Batchelor's and supplemented by relevant postgraduate qualifications.

The lack of a Bachelor's degree may exceptionally be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of interest to the Agency;

Experience as a project manager in major CIS projects (3 years minimum for A3);

Experience as a project team leader (3 years minimum for A2).

Experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex communication and information systems;

Experience in managing, planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other 00000 communication and information systems;

Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies, relevant to the work, including information processing and transfer of information;

Significant knowledge of international, commercial/industrial standards for information processing and transfer of information;

Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills.

A formal qualification in management and management techniques (Prince2 or PMP, ITIL);

Experience of working in an (international) environment, comprising both military and civilian staff;

Experience in working in NATO's committee structure;

Knowledge of ACT, ACO and NATO responsibilities and organization.

At least 2 years of experience in project support in ICT business;

NATO SECRET clearance valid until the end of 2017;

High proficiency in using Windows 7, Office 2010/2013, SharePoint 2010/2013 tools;

Able to learn new procedures and terminology quickly; Able to operate under time pressure.
