Senior Business Systems Analyst - Plymouth

A Senior Business Systems Analyst is required by a large engineering and support services organisation based in Plymouth. The main purpose of this position is to take responsibility for business systems analysis services across the business division including requirements gathering and data modelling.

Main responsibilities:

* Define and understand the clients' business process, functions and data

* Data and process modelling

* Design for the development of IT application solutions

* Identify areas for process and system improvements

* Ensure any proposed design maps to user requirements

* Working closely with project managers and development specialists, including delivering progress reports and highlighting issues

Key requirements:

* Experience in a similar role, including: requirements gathering, process modelling and data modelling

* Ability to design complex applications

* Confident in highlighting issues and providing estimates

* Analytical mind and natural fault finding ability, with strong experience in systems analysis

* Good knowledge of SQL

* Stakeholder management experience (desirable)

* Working in an Agile environment (desirable)

Salary and benefits:

* £40,500 - £49,500 (please note this is in line with experience)
