Role Description

Based in London, this role will report directly to the Account Programme Lead and will oversee one or more critical EUS projects that will act as an enabler to a future mode of operations for a major public sector client.

Responsibilities will include resource allocation and all phases of the project life cycle (i.e. feasibility, requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation planning, and execution).

Responsible for the allocated project budget. Regularly interacts with and reports to management. Coordinates and directs the activities of project team members. Ensures all project requirements and / or objectives are documented.

Candidate Profile

* Experience with Windows 8.1, XP, MIPS

* 5 years' experience in a large enterprise, matrix IT environment

* Ability to manage multiple projects with up to 10 team members per project

* B2B or B2G experience preferred, although B2C experience within a supplier environment, delivering to a high profile client will be considered.

* In-depth experience with end user services, solutions and environments (e.g. Windows Operating systems, virtual desktops and desktop as a service topics).

* Proven ability to plan, direct and co-ordinate complex strategic technical projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements.

* Ability to collect and implement user requirements in terms of end user IT environment. Must have an excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures; as well as experience with project management.

* Strong analytical and change management skills

* Strong supplier/ vendor management skills

* Excellent communication skills to work across teams and competencies

* Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills

* Experience with new workplace and move projects will be an advantage

* Experience of supporting end user adoption of new technologies

* Strong experience with MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint

* Recognised Project management qualification (Prince2, AgilePM)

Essential

* ** Windows 8.1, XP, MIPS **

* Proven ability to manage IT or change projects, deliver high quality consultancy and support, deliver top quality, reliable service and support within a complex business services environment

* Working in collaboration with multiple areas and/or 3rd party suppliers in a SIAM environment

* Leading and managing complex teams in a matrix structure

* Project shaping and successful project delivery

* Experience of dealing with all levels of stakeholder including senior stakeholders

* Experience of running Waterfall and Agile projects

* Knowledge and use of key applications MS Project MS SharePoint

Desirable

* Personally managed and delivered 10+ projects

* Managed 3+ projects with budgets up to £1M

* Managed 3+ projects with staffing levels of 10-20+

* Experience of Behavioral change management

* Knowledge and experience of applying industry standard methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK).

* At least 5 years` experience of working within Programmes, Portfolios and Projects to include SDLC, Waterfall and Agile methodologies

* Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent technical qualification; Or demonstrable evidence of at least 10+ years' experience in ITIL, Project Management, Stakeholder Management and/or Change Management
