LOCATION: Central London

DURATION: 6 - 12 Months Contract with the option for further contract renewals

DAILY RATE: We will offer an attractive daily rate provided your skills and experience meets our role requirements.

Role Profile

Our established client whom operates within the Security Cleared environment, are actively seeking a DV Cleared Configuration Manager to join a progressive team of experts within an agile development environment.

As the Configuration Manager, you will be required to understand and document how the technical infrastructure is configured and relationships between Assets/Configuration Items (CIs).

You will be required to define the Services that are supported by the infrastructure in line with discovery and the project transition process. This underpins all the other Service Management functions in understanding the impact of Incidents, problems and changes.

You will be managing the lifecycle of CIs in line with the Change process from Installation to Retirement, working closely with Assets Management.

You will also be ensuring that all CIs, discovered or non-discovered are accurately recorded in the Configuration management System and have CIs to CIs relationships and CIs-Service relationships

Candidate Profile

For us, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate and is familiar with the Administration of HP UCMDB and probe distribution and all elements of HP Configuration Manager and HP Discovery including generation of reports and Adaptor identification.

It is also essential that you have:

* A good understanding of the structure/data model in HP UCMDB;

* A good understanding of Enrichment roles evaluation/application;

* A good understanding of Service Relationship Structures (Service Trees);

* Familiar with SAM licencing reporting - CPUs, Cores, SAM terminology;

* Integration of Asset & Configuration tooling federation;

* ITIL foundation and a good understanding of virtual environments.

The following are desirable and will give you an edge if you are:

* Familiar with Continuous Delivery and Configuration in an agile development environment;

* Familiar with Service Now;

* Familiar with HP Service Manager;

* Good interpersonal skills and a good technical background;

* Good knowledge of configuration Management support Asset Management.
