A Service Desk Analyst (ITIL Foundation Qualified) is required to provide IT users in my client with excellent customer service and first line support. This includes a quick and effective user support service in line with business policies and processes, operating to recognised ITIL based service management standards. PLEASE NOTE THS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35

Key Responsibilities:

*To provide an IT (thin client, laptops and home users) and telecoms (VOIP, Apple and Android mobile) support service to staff in accordance with recognised service delivery principles and agreed delivery targets.

*To offer IT and telecoms assistance to staff as required by responding to enquiries and service requests, assisting to resolve any hardware or software incidents or problems, including face to face support.

*To ensure that all calls, service requests and enquiries are answered and logged on the call logging system or allocated to the appropriate second line support, keeping all records up-to-date and keeping the user updated of progress at all times.

*To update asset registers accordingly

*To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.

*To support staff who are working from home via Remote access connection.

*To assist in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for the Office 365 and other end user products. Duties will involve running checks on mailboxes, researching and troubleshooting user queries and occasional one to one training.

*To support the mail classification and secure transfer system and support the management of security breaches .

*To provide cover on duties undertaken by Service desk colleagues as required and to the staff changes manager on periods of absence.
