This role is required specifically to assist in the delivery of a major programme to replace core systems with the organisation with an Oracle Retail solution. It requires a Test Manager to coordinate defect management and non-functional testing on this ERP programme successfully.

It will involve coordinating Test Leads and Test Analysts some of whom may be off-shore and working for 3rd Party Testing organisations.

The scope of testing will cover:

*Defect Management for Systems Integration Testing, End to End Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

*Coordination of Non-functional testing (Performance Testing, OAT, Security testing)

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

*Experience of testing ERP programmes, particularly with Oracle Retail experience

*Extensive experience of defect management,

*Cross-functional working, including working with 3rd Parties

*Strong stakeholder management skills - monitoring progress, controlling and driving issue resolution. This will include proven relationship building skills within organisations and with 3rd Party suppliers

*Experience in Management Reporting, providing regular updates on progress to management

*Proven experience delivering test projects across the IT and business landscape

*Effective leadership and organizational skills

*Experience of influencing to deliver a desired outcome

*Strong team player, dynamic and self-motivated

DESIRABLE

*Experience of delivering Oracle Retail solution

*Knowledge and experience of Agile methods and working practices relevant to testing

*Knowledge of testing tools including Test Management and Performance Test tools

*Good understanding of retail, ecommerce and Point of Sale systems and environments

*Effective facilitation and negotiating skills including reaching consensus and managing conflicting opinions

*Experience of leading teams from an outsourced, offshore test capability
