A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer to join a FTSE 100 Organisation based in either Andover or Warminster, undertaking the development, production and coordination of comprehensive solution documentation to ensure on time submission of a high quality bids compliant with customer requirements.

Primary responsibilities include;

* Working closely with SMEs to understand key elements of the solution in order to accurately articulate in bid documentation

* Support all phases of the bid

* Formal documentation required from PQQ to final bid submission

* Support internal presentation documents

* Support the wider bidding business in continuous improvement projects, helping to build a library of reusable bid documentation, case studies for PQQs

* Understand and apply winning business methodology to bid writing assignments

* Identification of compliance requirements for the submission document

* Supporting Bid Manager and SMEs

* Editing of text produced by others and completion of editorial checks during the process

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven track record and experience of working within a complex bidding environment for central government clients

* Managing and coordinating the writing and compilation of proposal documents

* Ideally a background in Defence industry

* Experience of working with SMEs in the business environment and articulating information into a bid document

* Strong literacy and numerical skills

* Meticulous attention to detail

* Initiative and creativity skills
