Job Title: 2nd Line Technical Support

Located in Coventry, the company is a Business to Business IT solutions provider. They supply IT solutions and IT services to small businesses, charities and local authorities.
They currently have a vacancy in their dynamic and highly skilled support team for a conscientious and motivated individual.
The role is to provide expert proactive support and solutions to customers ensuring that the service provided meets the company's high quality standards. Working as part of the support team you will be supporting customers by telephone, email and remote support tools on a wide range of technical support issues as well performing general maintenance tasks and IT management functions.
Based in their Coventry office, this is primarily a remote support role but site visits will also be required from time to time.
Experience and Skills Required:
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a small business based support environment doing a mixture of field and remote work.
A strong customer focus is vital, as are strong problem solving skills and great attention to detail. Any formal qualifications are desirable but not essential as we place a high value on experience and a willingness to learn.

* Firewalls / Routers / Switches
* Virtualisation Technologies
You will be based within 1 hour commute of Coventry City Centre and have a minimum of two years experience working in a similar role. Previous experience is essential.
Outside of any technical skills the company's ideal candidate will be very well organised with a high level of attention to detail. You will be comfortable communicating with customers on all levels both verbally and in written formats such as email. Professionalism, punctuality and a willingness to learn and improve are key attributes.
