Senior Tester, Test Analyst, Manual, Automated An innovative, Bath-based software house requires an experienced Senior Tester, ideally with experience of both manual and automated testing, to join their dedicated team during a phase of growth and expansion.  Working within an enjoyable and supportive working environment, the Senior Tester will be testing a variety of market-leading software products - web, desktop and mobile - predominantly through manual testing, but with a move to automated scripts planned in the near future.The OpportunityBased in the beautiful centre of historic Bath, my client is well-established and well-known, offering the Senior Tester a relaxed, yet focused environment, as they develop market-leading software for use within the sport and leisure industry.  Mirroring their industry which is one of rapid growth, expansion and innovation, the Senior Tester will liaise with a number of teams, to test a variety of new and exciting products, within a collaborative and supportive environment.What do I need?My client is seeking a Senior Tester, to take ownership of the testing function, so you should have a demonstrable track record of commercial testing success, covering both manual and automated testing. Whilst the successful Senior Tester is likely to have gained a range of skills and experience, key areas for this position include:

Manual testing experience.

Experience with automated test tools.

Experience of writing and executing test scripts.

Experience with SQL Server

Scripting ability - VB Script, XML, etc.
