Salary: EUR200e per day (Day Rate Contract) - Negotiable
Contract Type: Initial 6 Months

OPERATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST

Our client a global technology giant is looking for an experienced Operations Support Analyst to join their team and support their end client within the Financial Services industry on site in Dublin City Centre
Operations Support Analyst is required to support the Project and Portfolio management across the end client's central IT function. This role involves supporting a variety of system end users who include Project Managers; PMO; Technology Services; Architects; Business Analysts and many other Project resources.
Operations Support Analyst KEY Responsibilities:
There are approximately 2,200 users to support and the first level of support is provided by on and offshore resources. The Operations Support Analyst will be responsible for:
* Ensuring issues are routed correctly
* Support Resources are following the correct process
* Issues are being dealt with in an appropriate time frame
* All of the required information is being captured for each issue
* Issues are categorised appropriately
* Escalations are managed through to closure and root cause analysis is provided
* MI reports are produced on time and are of a high quality
* Assisting the wider Management Services team as needed
* Positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues across IT as appropriate
Operations Support Analyst Requirements:
* Proven support experience in a similar role
* Strong numerical, analytical and reporting skills
* Strong Technical Skills
* Proven experience in performance management or cost analysis and control, especially in an IT context is desirable
* Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Primary or Secondary degree in a related discipline
* Strong problem solving skills
* Strong organisational, presentation, and customer service skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
