Production Planner job

Work in a high tech environment

Career in Buckinghamshire, Home Counties/Thames Valley

£40,000 per year + Bonus

Quite the cool Production Planner job I've got here. Fancy working for one of the world's most advanced technology companies as a Production Planner? Sure you do. Who wouldn't want to work in an ever changing, highly dynamic, energetic and high tech environment? Pretty sure most people would love it! Here's your chance to get in there first - assuming you've got plenty of production planning experience, and come from a similar environment. Such as a technology / mechanical / automotive / aerospace / engineering lead production company. If you've got that, then you're probably the Production Planner we're looking for!

Of course being such a cool company means they have high expectations for their next Production Planner appointment. Not only do you need to have worked in a similar environment but you will also have a good understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and MRP (it would be quite nice if you were familiar with Oracle too). You will have very good production planning skills that are underpinned with a wider understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application, and you may even have an APICS CPIM or CSCP certification to back that up. Ultimately this all boils down to Production Planning ability, so detailed knowledge of Manufacturing Planning, Materials Requirements planning, Capacity Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, and Product Definition all helps! (I told you they had high expectations...)

As the Production Planner you will obviously have strong analytical, organisational and planning skills. We would like you to be able to communicate effectively and have strong interpersonal skills to go alongside all of the planning stuff - it will help you to settle into a high intensity working environment and engage your colleagues with your plans!

If you're a Production Planner coming from a tech focussed industry and would relish the opportunity to work for one of the worlds most high tech businesses then apply now! Please find me on LinkedIn once you're done and extend an invite, I almost always say yes to relevant people - Sean Figura MILT (I am the only one!)

Key words: Master Scheduling, Production planning, manufacturing planning, APICS, technology, semiconductors, aerospace, automotive, engineering
