A reputable Investment Bank is looking for an Equities Application Support Specialist to join their team in London in supporting the run-the-bank functions on a Windows or UNIX platform.

You will support the Derivatives function within the reputable Equities franchise. The Equity Derivatives team is based on the trading floor and use cutting-edge technology to provide seamless support.

You will champion the availability, effectiveness and efficiency of trading systems built on Windows and UNIX. You will develop specialist knowledge and present this as you liaise with developers, traders and business analysts.

Key skills:

Trader-facing support experience

Business knowledge of Equity Derivatives

Windows and UNIX

Oracle or SQL

Numerical or IT-related degree

You will be proactive with clear communications skills that you will utilise to interact with traders. You will have a genuine interest in Financial Services and technology and really enjoy solving problems and being analytical.

The ideal Equities Application Support Specialist will also have working knowledge of Java, C# and Excel as well as issue tracking tools such as Jira or Service Now.
