We are currently looking for an experienced Consultant to manage a range of procurement categories within IT, such as software, hardware, but also consulting services. Our client is a financial service provider in Zurich and is looking to hire on contract basis for at least 6 months.

Tasks

* Responsible for the whole sourcing life cycle for project based procurement assignments

* Support large and complex procurement projects

* Liaise with line management in order to specify requirements and kick off the procurement process

* Negotiate pricing and conditions with suppliers and vendors

* Create contracts based on standard templates

Requirements

* Minimum of 4 years experience in a procurement capacity within Software, Hardware and Business & IT Consulting, ideally within project-related sourcing

* Experienced in creating Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

* Practical experience with e-sourcing & e-procurement tools, such as SAP SRM, SAP BI

* Experience in evaluating suppliers and their offers

* Experience in negotiating terms and creating contracts based on standard templates

* Background in Banking & Finance highly preferable

* Higher education (diploma) in procurement a big plus

Start date: January 2018

Contract length: 6 months
