Technical Support Engineer

Doncaster, South Yorkshire

£27,000 - £33,000 + Training + Progression + 33 Days holiday + Pension

Are you a Technical / Customer Support Engineer from either a Rail, Automotive, Aerospace or Manufacturing background seeking a role where you will hold full responsibility for this global companies' customer & supplier Engineering needs?

This is the chance to join a market leader in the Rail industry who have won awards for their staff training and investment. You will work closely with customers / suppliers within both national and overseas markets; ensuring technical support activities meet industry standards, improving performance & reliability & asssiting in the identification and development of new products & services with customers.

This business is a household name in the Rail industry- they have many different divisions and sites across the UK, the main focus of this department is product development for both Railway Infrastructure & Rolling Stock. They have an excellent progression structure and can provide a long term, constantly developing career.

This role would suit a Technical Support / Customer Support Engineer from either a Rail, Automotive, Aerospace or Manufacturing looking for a varied role within an industry leading company.

The Role

- Dealing with all customer & supplier Engineering needs

- Ensure any technical support activities meet industry standards and legislative requirements

- Assessing warranty issues to improve fleet performance & reliability

- Assist in the identification and development of new products / services with customers

The Person

- Experience in similar Technical / Customer Support role

- Background in either Rail, Automotive, Aerospace or Manufacturing

- Project Management experience

- Based in commutable distance to Doncaster
