Security Consultant / Researcher (Cyber Defence Penetration Testing RedTeam SC Clearance). Leading Cyber Security technology consultancy is seeking a highly talented Security Consultant / Researcher to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will come from a Penetration Testing / Red Teaming background and have a hunger for research.

As a Security Consultant / Researcher you'll work with clients to understand their issues and concerns, advise them on the type of threats they could be vulnerable to and build up a detailed understanding of how exploitation of systems occur. You'll utilise your passion and experience deliver hands-on consultancy to suggest solutions; produce scopes, bid content and assist with pre-sales work.

This role also allows you to conduct research into the Cyber Security space; publish advisories, white papers and present at leading security conferences, making a name for yourself within this growing industry.

This Security Consultant / Researcher presents an excellent opportunity to join a research led, global Cyber Security consultancy that prides itself on innovation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

*Passionate about information security, defensive security in particular

*Background with Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, Networking or Software Engineering

*Advanced understanding of tools, techniques and procedures that modern attackers use to compromise organisations

*Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to build strong, effective working relationships

Nice to haves:

*CREST Registered Tester (CRT) or Certified Tester (CCT) (Infrastructure or Web Application); CCNA, MSCA, MSCE or other certifications demonstrating core technical skills; other security industry specific technical accreditations such as OSCP, OSCE, GIAC, CISSP

As a Security Consultant / Researcher you can expect to earn a competitive salary (to £70k) plus bonus and benefits package including pension.
