Technical Business Analyst

I am currently looking for a candidate to fill the role of an IT Business Analyst working for a Tier 1 banking client on a contract basis in London. The ideal candidate will need to possess skills from technical BA experience as you will be expected to be able to undertake complex data analysis to perform to the best of your ability in the role and then deliver the information extracted from the data to a team of BAs and IT colleagues. This means that the candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills as they will be dealing with the business and senior stakeholders on a daily basis.

You are expected to have knowledge and expertise regarding BCBS239 data traceability and control documentation for liquidity reporting systems as this is the core focus of the role. As this is an opportunity to join a Tier 1 global banking organisation, the business analyst will also have experience working in the Banking or Investment banking sector so that they are familiar with the environment and are able to hit the ground running when starting the role.

Key Accountabilities:

* Experience of using SQL for data analysis

* Good documentation skills including MS Visio to capture process or data flows

* Previous experience in a technical Business Analyst role

* Knowledge of regulatory change/compliance projects
