Network / Wi-Fi Engineer
12 Month contract initially
London based
£300 - £400 per day
We have an excellent opportunity with a world leading organisation, with a diverse customer base, for a Network / Wi-Fi Engineer to join the team on a successful programme of work.
Key Skills:
* 3rd line support skills on Wi-Fi technology.
* Development and certification of a Wi-Fi QoS configuration in order to incorporate Voice and Video applications as part of a global MS Office 365 roll-out. You will be responsible for the delivery of configuration.
* Develop a high level migration plan for approx. 1300 Vodafone M3 Connect provided LanCom Access Points. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high level plan.
* Joint participation with the Network Management team to develop a plan on automating continuous configuration & compliance verification. You will be responsible for functional specification and testing.
* Provide 3rd line support for the Wi-Fi only branch pilot. You will be responsible for delivering SME support for a successful pilot.
* Provide training to the operations teams on the new Wi-Fi developments.
