SMC Remedy Engineer

Description of Business Environment:

The REMEDY SERVICE MANAGEMENT DEVELOPER is responsible for the administration and development of Remedy ITSM Tool Suite 8.X. The candidate will develop Service Management solutions that meet IT Service Management (ITSM) processes as described in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 2011 framework. Focused responsibility is to optimize run book automation, SLAs and process implementation. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The applicant must be fluent in English. The ability to speak French or Flemish as plus.

Required Skills:

*Experience with a full life-cycle implementation of Remedy ITSM Tool Suite V8.1 with and strong application architectural and foundational knowledge of the Remedy Applications.

*Must have a holistic approach to ITSM Tool Suite 8.1 application development and be familiar with how the various modules work both together and separately.

*Proficient in customizing and implementing ITSM Tool Suite 8.1 Service Request Catalog (SRC) and request fulfillment modules. SRM experience is a positive.

*Involvement with integrating ITSM Tool Suite 8.1 with other ITSM tools including SRM, SCCM, SCOrch, SCOM.

*Desired extensive skill on ADDM, BMC Analytics, Atrium SSO, BPPM

*Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This includes working with clients to compile requirements for future application development cycles.

*Proficient in all ITSM Tool Suite 8.1 modules, specifically:

?Incident Management

?Problem Management

?Change Management

?Request Fillfilment

?Service Request Catalog

?Configuration Management

?Knowledge management

*Strong working knowledge in the following areas within ITSM Tool Suite 8.1:

?Queries, Forms and reports

?JavaScript

?Display Screens & Options

?Link Files

?Scripts, Wizards, Events & Triggers

?Web Services

?Administration (Roles, Tasks, Profiles, Groups, maintenance, etc.)

*ITIL 2011 Foundation certification and ITIL Intermediate certifications and Remedy Certification Training
