Compliance Advisor to be based in Milton Keynes on an initial 3 Month contract. Experienced in ensuring compliance FCA standards/compliance is maintained throughout the marketing/advertising/sales promotions.

Rate - £ 500 per day
Duration - 1 Months initial
JOB DESCRIPTION - this role is about ensuring compliance FCA standards/compliance is maintained throughout the marketing/advertising/sales promotions etc.
This job, reporting to the Compliance Manager Policy and Advisory will involve providing day to day advice to the business on compliance matters, supporting business projects and supporting the management of the firms policy framework.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in the management of the Client policy manual to ensure it remains up to date with regulatory requirements, the Client risk plan
* Maintaining and updating policies and procedures to ensure the compliance manual remains in line with the relevant rules
* Ensure the policy manual is effectively communicated to staff.
* Conduct an annual policy review and manage the policy attestation process
* Assisting with the development and delivery of compliance training to front office and the wider business, this includes giving advice and guidance to front office
* Provide intelligence to the business on ongoing regulatory developments and horizon scanning for forthcoming regulatory change
* Provide ongoing day-to-day compliance advice and guidance to front & back office functions, in order to facilitate ongoing compliant operation.
* Provide advice the business on the implementation of regulatory change
* Support business projects by providing regulatory and compliance input.
* Support the Marketing team in providing copy approval for financial promotions
* Produce and manage relevant information through to senior management
* Promote and maintain effective internal relationships
* Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory impacts on the business
* identifying and escalating issues as necessary to the Policy and Advisory manager
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience of policy drafting in a compliance environment an advantage
* Knowledge of FCA rules and handbooks
* Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail to meet demanding deadlines
* Strong desire to further develop their own skills and to support the development of colleagues
* Knowledge of Consumer Credit market a distinct advantage
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clearly articulating ideas, solutions and recommendations across all levels of the organisation.
* Highly motivated and works under own initiative.
* Able and willing to take ownership of problems and issues and proactively resolve with minimal supervision.
* Able to undertake several analysis engagements, of multiple sizes, concurrently.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills
* commercial awareness as a fine balance must be achieved between remaining commercially viable and remaining compliant
* Team player.
