Job Title: 3rd Line ICT System Support Specialist (Server Infrastructure & SQL Administration)

Salary: Up to £34,538 per annum (career progression criteria applies)

The Organisation is looking for an experienced 3rd line Engineer predominantly for the Company's Windows Server and SQL administration as well as to complement their small technical team.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining the existing environments by monitoring system performance, identifying issues, implementing and adhering to relevant best practices.

Duties will include optimizing and expanding the current platforms with team members, providing primary and advanced end-user support on key systems, including the latest iterations of Microsoft Windows as well as exposure to SQL Server 2012-2016.

Experience of administrating in a VMware Virtual environment is desirable, along with a willingness to implement new systems and a sound understanding of networking principles.

The Candidate:

Whilst being technically hands-on, the Engineer must be an advocate of change management and contributing to the production of quality systems documentation. The ability to communicate with end users, team members and senior management will make this a rewarding opportunity to join a team at an important time of transition.

There will be a requirement for some travel for which a pool car will be provided. Some out of hours work may also be required which will be on a rota basis.
