Revered privately owned networks solutions and services provider are seeking Pre-Sales Technical Consultant with an excellent service ethic and customer focus. Engaged as an integral part of a Technical Pre-Sales Team you will be proactive and tenacious providing Technical Qualification, Network Solutions Design and Bid Support to a well-known client base.

Your remit will also involve the delivery of customer solutions providing Technical Consultancy to Channel Partners, End-User's and key stakeholders with market products and services. Using your consultative DNA you will position yourself to deliver compelling, technical and commercially sound LAN/WAN solutions to meet business requirements.

Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to coexist with Sales Teams, Technical Consultants and Engineers.

Responsible for Technical Pre-Sales you will need a solid understanding of:

* WAN technologies including: Leased Lines, Carrier Ethernet, EFM, xDSL.

* Technologies including Edge, Access and Data Centre

* Cisco R&S technologies: ASR9000 /ASR1000 switches, ME3600 Metro Ethernet switches

* Cisco 6500, 3700, 2900 and 800 series routers. Cisco Nexus, Cisco 37xx, Cisco 45xx.

* Security such as Firewalls and Intrusion Detection

* WLAN, UCS, SIP, VOIP

* Vendor experience with Huawei, HPE, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Aruba, Aerohive and Meraki products

* High Level designs and detailed statement of works to document specific details associated with implementation and overall in-life operation of the solutions that have been proposed

* Have an ability to map technical solutions to customer needs/business objectives

* Able to create and deliver technical presentations to end customers

* Solid understanding of networking protocols including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPLS, VPNs, and QoS

Your main focus will encompass:

* Responsibility for pre-sales design of the "client to customer" networks solutions portfolio.

* Providing technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, customer meetings.

* Responsibility for High level equipment designs for the sales team as well as High Level design handover to the project implementation team to ensure that the system will function according to customer specifications.

* Provide consultancy support to the sales team for customers, matching business requirements to the suitable technical solution.

* Manage proof of concept testing based on customer requirements, to demonstrate feasibility of an application or solution prior to a project rollout either on site or at offices.

* To be a pre-sales consultant for best business practice and as such be involved in technical and sales training on new propositions in this field.

Highly Desirable Qualifications will include:

* CCDA, CCDP or holding a valid CCNP, CCIP

* CCNA-Wireless, CCNA-Security, FCNSA, CCSA, FCNSP, CCSP or CISSP
