Systems Administrator (DV cleared)

Our Client is looking for a DV cleared Windows System Administrator to be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and implementing solutions to optimise the infrastructure operations.

Required Skills:

- You will have experience directly related to creating the detailed design, as well as completing the implementation, integration, delivery and maintenance (System Administration) of Infrastructure Services hosted on Windows 2008/2012 and Windows 7 Desktop platforms. The candidate will be expected to have an ITIL based approach to delivering services to the support & maintenance organisation. Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills including an understanding of network and storage technologies as well as system performance investigation. Documentation skills and a team oriented mentality are key to success in this position.

- Experience in the following areas: VMWare, Backup/Restore, Active Directory, Patch Management, Anti-Virus, Symantec Endpoint, OS Upgrades, computer security and system monitoring and logging. Experience with the installation and configuration of COTS/FOSS products, such as JBOSS and Java based Applications in a configuration managed environment. The candidate must have a strong background working in a secure environment, including the administration of Certificate Servers and the use of PKI within the system.

- Experience with VMware virtualized environments, including vSphere 5.x (ESXi) and vCenter Server 5.x versions, and deploying virtual machines to production environments via templates
