A UK Based Data Management & Analytics consultancy is expanding its foothold here in Ireland and looking to hire a range of SAS Consultants to work on site with large financial institutions. This will be a client facing role with BIG 4 Consultancy experience highly desired.

Requirements

Essential Skills

* Minimum 5 years' experience and proficiency in programming SAS V9 (Base, Macro, SQL).

* Proven experience using SAS Intelligence Platform (Data Management - DI Studio, BI - Web Report Studio, Stored Process, Enterprise Guide etc.).

* Experience in Relationship and Stakeholder Management.

* Demonstrated Project Management and Technical Lead capability.

Desirable Skills

* SAS V9.3 and higher experience.

* SAS Visual Analytics & SAS Visual Statistics knowledge.

* SAS DI Studio.

* Played a leading role in the delivery of end-to-end projects.

* Familiarity with different development methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, scrum).

* Experience and knowledge in the delivery of Big Data solutions.

* Strong understanding of MDM concepts.

* Knowledge of Relational Databases and Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, Star Schema, slowly changing dimensions).

* Technical Business Analysis experience (Requirements Gathering, Business Case Preparation, and Documentation).

* An experience of SAS solution development.

* Cross Platform Data querying.

* Multi-Platform experience (Unix/Mainframe/PC)

* Financial Sector experience.

* Line Management experience.

* Team building & Team Leading.

* Mentoring/Staff Development experience.
