Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a SAS Developer / Analyst to work with rapidly growing client in Birmingham for an initial 3 month contract. This will be a key role within the data team to aid them in cleaning up their SAS coding and processes, as well as producing new code to support core functions within the business.
This will be a 3 month initial contract with a pay rate between £300-400 per day.
Our client have a great opportunity for a SAS developer / analyst to join their forward thinking team in a friendly environment, who can help them analyse their current SAS processes and code, with a view to tidy it up into a more efficient single SAS coding solution. This will suit an analytically minded developer, who can create new code from scratch, but also analyse what is existing, able to communicate effective improvements to the data team.
Essential Experience:
* Strong background in SAS development and analysis
* Excellent knowledge with ProcSQL and SQL
* General knowledge of Oracle products
* Preferable to have worked on a Unix platform previously
* Ability to analyse current SAS processes and work to develop improved code
