A financial services firm with a focus on commodities based in London has an exciting opportunity available for a Compliance Manager to join their Compliance team.

They are looking for a Compliance Manager with a good level of regulatory Compliance knowledge of Mifid and MAR (MAR not mandatory).

With Mifid heavily affecting their business activities, a Compliance Manager with an understanding of Mifid is important. They need you to distil the rules accordingly and assess the risks specific to the various areas of the organisation. In addition to Mifid, as a Compliance Manager you also will be in involved in other regulations such as EMIR, 4MLD, REMIT and FCA conduct rules.

There is a large portion of work to be carried out as the Compliance Manager on the risk register and your will be responsible for prioritising these risks and then updating the compliance monitoring programme accordingly.

You will also be involved in providing Compliance Advisory to the trading floor.

The positon and the team work closely and autonomously. They have a real sense of responsibility of their work and interact with all levels of the organisation.
