Programme Manager / Project Manager

Global Insurance Company currently seeks a Programme Manager / Project Manager to deliver multiple change projects and workstreams within a programme along with a team of PMs, BA`s, SME`s and Developers to deliver the technical solutions aligned with the clients new TOM for Brexit.

Due to the urgency of this contract you will need to be available to interview next week and be available to start immediately or within 2 weeks` notice, maximum.

As a Programme Manager / Project Manager within this programme of work you will own certain projects and also other workstreams within other PMs projects which will (on either your own project or another`s workstream) require you to provide estimates of time, scale and resource costs; track the projects and manage risks, issues and dependencies; engage stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage expectations and report progress an ultimately manage changes in project scope, devising contingency plans where necessary to deliver enhancements to the various platforms.

You will manage the budgets, conduct budget forecast and maintain project artefacts. Projects will be delivered within Agile or Waterfall methods as deemed appropriate. When working as a Programme Manager you will manage other Project Managers to deliver the enhancements as deemed necessary by the programme.

We are searching for a Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager who has a broad range of experience working in large-scale projects gained within Insurance and/or Financial Services covering the enterprise application environment across Europe and the forthcoming changes that need to be in place with the target operating model in order for the business to adapt to Britains` exist from the EU and the subsequent effect this will have on the business operating in the UK and EU.

Ideally you will come from an Insurance background yourself or have worked on large scale global change/transformation projects within enterprise environments

The successful Programme Manager / Project Manager will be able to lead and delivery projects, work with other PMs to delivery workstreams within their projects, and manage both teams of analysts , (as required from a Project Management perspective), other Project Managers, project budgets and project sponsors. You will be well versed in both Agile and Waterfall methods. Excellent communication skills pre-requisite.

6 month project scope with strong opportunity for contract renewal. City of London location.
