Quality Technician / Medical Device / ISO13485 / StaffordshireLocation: StaffordshireSalary: £22,000 - £25,000Main Purpose of the role: The Quality Systems Technician will be responsible for ensuring the Company delivers the specified requirements of our QM standards, ISO9001, ISO13485 & ISO17025Scope of the job:

'€¢Maintain and improve the company Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with applicable Quality Policies, Standards and existing procedures.

'€¢Provide support to other departments for analysing, defining and improving operating processes.

'€¢Liaise with the Quality System Certification Body and other regulatory bodies for ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO17025 certification activities.

'€¢Ensure the effective operation of the Quality Assurance procedures.

'€¢Proactive steering of Non-conformance resolution and ensuring CAPA's identified and implemented.

Required Competencies:

'€¢Thorough knowledge of and experience working with ISO quality systems and administration, in particular ISO9001,

'€¢Previous experience of working within a Quality environment is essential.

'€¢Excellent verbal and written communicator, able to influence at all levels.

'€¢Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.

'€¢Self-motivated and a confident team player

'€¢Experience of conducting and managing internal and external audits. (desirable but not essential)

'€¢Excellent communication skills at all levels. Excellent attention to detail.

Duties and key responsibilities:

'€¢Guarantee conformity of the Company Documentation System (Manuals, Procedures, Work Instructions) in line with ISO9001 Standard

'€¢Support owners in the definition of their process objectives, in monitoring their activity and in promoting continuous improvement

'€¢Train Company functions and new resources in quality matters

'€¢Analyse data coming from projects and processes (Customer Satisfaction-CS, Non- Conformity-NC, complaints and lesson learned, etc.)

'€¢Issue and manage Corrective and Preventive Action Request (CAPAs)

'€¢Provide feedback of progress on a weekly basis to the Quality Manager.

'€¢Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently and work independently.

'€¢Provide assistance to the Purchasing Management regarding Supplier and Sub-contractor pre-qualification, qualification and quality audit activities

'€¢To ensure compliance to the companies Change Management procedures

'€¢To undertake other projects as required on the instructions of the Head of Quality

'€¢To fulfil all responsibilities as defined in the Company's ISO Quality Manual

'€¢To care for your own health and safety and that of others.  To co-operate with employers and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements

'€¢To carry out such other duties as may be required to achieve the overall purpose of the job.
