Business Analyst

Business Analyst needed for a project with a Tier 1 banking client based in London. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working with Commercial Banking Risk within regulatory compliance projects so that they can understand and articulate risk and control frameworks. A history of business analysis on technical projects within product control, valuations or working on a previous regulation based data initiative is also preferable as you will need to undertake requirements gathering, and perform gap analysis in your findings, then relay this information to a team of IT specialists for them to test the data as well as senior stakeholders for review. This means that the candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills as they will be dealing with the project and senior stakeholders on a daily basis.

You are expected to have knowledge and expertise regarding BCBS Pillar III and the CoRep framework, particularly within Commercial Banking Risk as this is the core focus of the role. As this is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1 global banking organisation, the business analyst will also have experience working in the Banking or Investment banking sector so that they are familiar with the environment and are able to hit the ground running when starting the role.

This is a 3 month rolling contract in London that could extend through to the end of 2018.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in a lead Business Analyst role.

* Experience in a position of management or leadership.

* Previous experience of undertaking complex data analysis and analysis of gaps.

* Previous experience of working in a large Retail and/or commercial bank.

* Experience or knowledge of SQL for undertaking data analysis.

* Experience or knowledge of BCBS Pillar III.

* A deep understanding of Commercial Banking Risk and regulatory frameworks.
