Proteus Europe is searching for an Android or IOS app developer to join the permanent team of one of our clients in Bavaria, Southern Germany.

Our Client :-

Our client is a driving force behind the Internet of Things (IoT). Their operating system for the IoT fuels various different devices and ensures data transmission, data security and analytics to generate relevant data for their customers and offer highly attractive services to consumers.

In order to achieve this, they focus on one very attractive target market and are using state­of­the­art, highly scalable systems. On the hardware side, they are leveraging their deep hardware competence, with partners from the hardware industry and offer an one­stop solution to bring devices to the cloud. They focus on an exciting consumer application of IoT that you will soon see in an important part of your life.

Your New role :-

- Take ownership of our Android or iOS apps (as a Senior Developer)

- Design and build beautiful applications for Android and/ or iOS

- Collaborate with the team to define, design and ship new features

- Unit- and system-test your code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Your Skills and Qualifications :-

Essential Skills :-

- Solid experience writing complex native apps for Android or iOS (preferably Swift)

- Have published at least one native Android or iOS app

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. Experience with webSockets is a plus

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies

- Application security concepts and best-practices as well as a solid Computer Science background

- Strong problem solving. You already faced extreme/ atypical use cases and you had fun solving them

- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written English

- You get stuff done. We are looking for someone we can trust to do a good job without much handholding.
