Proteus Europe is searching for some Java / Android / Python developers for a 12 month contract based in Belgium.

Our Client :-

Working within this Global Corporation you will join a committed group of engineers who take pride in their work and strive to ensure that this companys wide range of software products is able to resist the best efforts of black hat hackers. As you can imagine security is tight and the collected knowledge in the existing team is large, an excellent opportunity to really stretch your Research skills in this complex world of security authentication. Our client is quite literally a household name across the Globe.

Your New role :-

The candidate must have a masters degree and skills and experience in the following areas:

- Software development skills

- Java frontend (Android) and backend

- Python

- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

- Excellent unit and system testing skills

- Experience with version control systems (git, github)

- Experience with continuous integration process and tools

- Excellent code review skills

Apart from these pure technical skills, the candidate should possess:

- Experience working in an agile environment, acquainted with the SCRUM project lifecycle

- A strong quality orientation, combined with a pragmatic attitude

- Strong command of English

- Good communication and writing skills

- The ability to work independently and pro-actively, but also able to collaborate within a team
