A rapidly growing organisation in central Swindon are currently looking for a Lead Java Software Developer to provide technical leadership and innovation to ensure appropriate solutions are in place to meet business requirements. To do this, you will utilise your strong technical skills, introduce new technologies, as well as optimise current key technologies. You will also be responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to the more junior developers within the team.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

- Analysing business requirements, translating into technical design and ensuring the development of quality solutions for internal transformational projects

- Full life cycle application development for the new web application

- Ensuring agreed architecture principles are adhered to when designing solutions

- Mentoring junior developers

Technical Skills:

- Java 8

- Spring Boot / MVC

- HTML

- JSP, JSF

- Maven, Gradle, Ant

- MySQL, Postgres

- SOAP, XML

- Agile / Scrum

- TDD, unit testing, JUnit, Mockito

They're also using:

- Continuous integration / deployment (Bamboo, Jenkins)

- Experience with DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo/Jenkins, AWS, Docker)

- Strong task planning and delivery skills

- A strong motivation to succeed
