Job -Information Security Engineer - Team Leader- Hatfield

Location - Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Salary - £50,000 - 60,000

My client is located in Hatfield within their brand-new head office, where they have a start-up feel, relaxed culture and relaxed dress code!

The role

You will work within a coaching, mentoring & development team lead role, as well as dealing with security alerts, incidents and managing the security systems. You will create and carry out security campaigns, security assessments of new technologies and educate the wider business on this. A focus will be to increase awareness of security within their business. You will manage the security engineering team in their daily responsibilities and ensure that the team have the necessary skills to complete tasks.

The ideal candidate

You will have a passion for all aspects of information security. You will have excellent engaging, personable and collaborate skills. You will have a passion and ability to stay ahead of the latest developments and security threats.

Essential Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have a security qualification (or working towards), CISSP or equivalent. You will be working or have worked within a Security Engineer or Security Analyst role.

You will have a broad technical background covering networks, operating systems and software development.
