Programme Manager - 80-100k + excellent benefits - Aberdeen Edinburgh Rosyth

Job Summary:

My client a FTSE 100 global organisation are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Programme Manager in leading cross functional teams in the delivery of high profile and complex oil and gas programmes.

Based at our offices in Rosyth/Aberdeen to support engineering and/or asset integrity work in the offshore Oil and Gas sector. The successful applicant must have experience of managing projects within the offshore oil and gas or related industry through conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement and Construction.

Requirements:

Lead the planning and implementation of projects. Ensure the rationale and scope of the project is clarified through a Team Charter. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Negotiate appropriate resource and skills allocation as required to deliver on specific projects.

Run risk management process, with potential risks or threats to the success of the project being identified early and controls and mitigating actions put in place through maintenance of Risk Register and generation of Critical Risk Remediation Plans.

Generate and manage project budgets, ensuring that cross-functional project costs are regularly updated for tracking purposes, monitoring the expenditures against benefits delivered. Ensure that the database for accounting is up to date and accurate.

Education and Experience:

* University degree, preferably within engineering

* Significant experience in project management

* Experience of working in a matrix management structure

* Experience of managing projects with the offshore oil and gas or related industry through conceptual

* FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement and Construction.

* Offshore Topside Engineering experience essential; FPSO project experience desirable
