QA / Test Analyst
QA Analyst / Test Analyst / SCRUM / Agile / ISEB / ISTQB / Permanent / Sutton Coldfield
Award winning, market leading Software Company based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham is looking for an experienced and passionate QA Analyst / Test Analyst to join their growing team.
The QA Analyst / Test Analyst will be part of the Software Development team and will be working with experienced professionals to update an existing legacy product suite. You will be working in a highly Agile environment and will be part of a SCRUM team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, execute and document the testing of client software suite using both manual and automated testing.
*Work closely with Developers as part of a SCRUM team to test user stories as they're being developed.
*Liaise effectively with Project Managers while in UAT phases.
*Collaborate with Product Owners from the onset to understand requirements, define test cases and suggest conditions of acceptance.
*Log and help to prioritise defects using Visual Studio Team Services.
*Update bank of regression scripts on a continual basis.
*Assist with planning the regression testing activities in preparation for release.
Key Skills and Experience required:
*Demonstrable experience covering the full testing life cycle including knowledge of; test methodologies, test plans and test scripts, test execution and raising defects.
*Experience creating and executing basic SQL queries to support testing
*Experience of working within an Agile / SCRUM environment.
*Certified ISEB or ISTQB tester.
*You will also ideally have experience with automated testing tools, web application testing and testing of high availability systems.
