Big Data/Cyber Consultant - DV CLEARED

Our client is seeking 2 technical specialists to work with us on a Cyber Defence programme. The assignment involves assisting the client in extending an existing enterprise Cyber Defence capability from less sensitive to more sensitive domains. This builds on a comprehensive scoping and feasibility study completed earlier this year. While initially the work will involve working with the client and their existing suppliers to evaluate different possible approaches to the core challenge in detail, we assess that there will be an element of design, build and trial.

The successful candidates would join an existing team of x2 technical / security architects; x2 business analysts; x1 project manager.

Requirements, (M)andatory and (D)esirable

* Experience of designing and / or implementing 'Big Data' solutions in the Government sector - M

* Ability to advise on specific toolsets (e.g. Splunk) and their integration with each other to deliver a comprehensive capability - M

* Familiarity with the challenges inherent in integrating and exploiting data at different classifications in a single platform - M

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
