My client, a global investment bank based in London, is looking to recruit a brand new team to work on an Agile digital transformation programme which is looking at improving the end to end on-boarding process of investment banking clients and enhance the bank's customer experience in general. The first phase of the project will revolve around discovery and strategy in regards to creating a digital client-facing solution which is more convenient than the current manual on-boarding process in place.

Banking experience is not necessarily a pre-requisite - the most important thing is the experience of working on large-scale digital transformation programmes from scratch, ideally in an Agile environment, and the need for creative, self-thinking individuals who have the ability to challenge existing processes and work with minimal assistance and direction.

Dev Engineer

As the Dev Engineer on the team you will be responsible for the development of a brand new client facing web based application. This is a major digital transformation programme and experience working in pure Agile environment is essential.

* Extensive experience of Java, ideally J2EE, Microservices

* Experience of NodeJS, HTML5 or SpringBoot (Hibernate desirable)

* DevOps tooling experience - Jira, GitHub, Jenkins or Ansible

* Cloud hosting experience - PCF/Pivotal

* Automated unit testing using Junit and Automated functional testing using Selenium and Cucumber

* Population of & integration with CMS
